Hand Therapy

A Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) is an occupational or physical therapist who has completed advanced training in the treatment of the hand and upper body conditions. Your doctor may refer you to a CHT for a variety of conditions including post-surgical rehab, neurological conditions, fractures of the hand or arm, lacerations and amputations, burns, tendonitis, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, and carpal tunnel syndrome. The CHT
will focus on interventions aimed at getting you back to your desired activities.
